Since 2015, Lugar Sostenible has evolved into a social enterprise dedicated to assisting leaders and organizations in achieving their impact objectives through collaborative processes and methodologies. Over nearly a decade, we've spearheaded social innovation programs across Latin America, the United States, and Europe, offering a multifaceted approach aimed at catalyzing positive change.
Our expertise in social innovation and impact strategic design enables us to develop innovative strategies and solutions for complex socio-environmental challenges, from conservation and ecosystem management to solid waste management. We prioritize community building and relational skills, recognizing the importance of fostering strong, engaged communities as the foundation of sustainable change.
Through facilitation and weaving services, we bring diverse stakeholders together to collaboratively design and implement solutions, creating spaces for dialogue, collaboration, and co-creation. Additionally, our commitment to education, transformational learning, and systemic design empowers individuals and organizations to effect systemic change and drive positive social impact.
We also emphasize the importance of inner development, nurturing self-awareness, empathy, and resilience among individuals and groups to catalyze change from within. This holistic approach enables us to empower agents of change within communities, systems and beyond.

Meet Our Founder
Marisabel, brings over 17 years of experience as a Strategic Social Innovation Designer. She co-founded Third Millennium Alliance (TMA) and established the Jama-Coaque Reserve, engaging local communities in rainforest protection and regeneration along Ecuador's coast. She specializes in strategic design for organizations, communities, and leaders in Latin America, offering innovative solutions to complex socio-environmental challenges.
Her work encompasses community building, education, sustainable livelihoods, diversity, inclusion, and ecosystem conservation. Marisabel's comprehensive understanding of social dynamics and sustainable practices enables her to develop strategic design approaches that drive positive change. Her transformative facilitation has empowered diverse communities, companies, and social organizations to embrace innovation and achieve social impact.
